Nanotechnology-based skim coat

TermoRasante Aerogel MGN is a high-performance, heat-reflective skim coat designed to be applied in a thin layer of 4 to 10 mm. The formulation combines natural aerial lime, natural hydraulic lime (NHL 3.5), lightweight amorphous silica and nanotechnological aerogel.

Its exceptional reflectance provides a very high level of comfort, comparable to that achieved with thermal insulating panels offering the most advanced performance.

Thanks to its equivalent thermal conductivity of λe = 0.010 W/mK — obtained by interpolation taking into account solar reflectance and infrared emittance values — it can increase living comfort by 3 to 5 °C in rooms where it is applied, even at just a few millimetres thickness.
