A high-performance ground terracotta dehumidifying lime plaster for demanding conditions

Cocciopesto Deumidificante MGN is a second coat option for the Roman dehumidifying system comprising two products: Rinzaffo MGN and Cocciopesto Deumidificante MGN. It is designed to resist salts, sulphates, chlorides and nitrates present in masonry.

This system is used for the treatment of damp masonry affected by capillary rising damp — including severe cases — and in conditions with high salt concentrations or marine environments. It is particularly suitable for the restoration and renovation of historic buildings and agricultural buildings.

MGN manufactures Cocciopesto Deumidificante using finely ground terracotta, a material praised by Ancient Roman Architect Vitruvius and widely used throughout history, ensuring a consistent and high-performance plaster suitable for both restoration and new-build projects.
